The next wave of bands will blast off with Kvietah! Magdaléna Fendrychová hides under this pseudonym. She is not afraid to combine pop, rock and world music in her songs. It will definitely be worth it, because this year she will come to Povaleč with a live band!
When MATE RADI HADI landed on our band chart, at first we didn’t know what to make of it. But after the first listen they got under our skin! The synthesis of blues and garage rock may sound like something that could have come out of our mothers’ record player, but it’s sure to caress the ear canals of younger listeners.
Rapper, performer, drunk – these words could easily describe Franz Skafka. An honest boom bap for the young generation – diverse beats and hits on Hanspaulka. With the number of beers he drinks, he has a chance to fall into a proper rave!
It has taken four years, but we finally welcome Manon Meurt back to our festival, a representative of the ‘shoe gazing’ genre of music that has been gaining popularity in recent years. The intimate beginnings of their songs take the listener to epic walls of sound. You can’t miss this concert!
August 31? I haven’t heard of that one, yeah but Pysh Pash, I remember those, oh yeah they have reinvented themselves, yeah right. The original duo organically grew into what is now the August 31 project. If Amy Winehouse was born in the wild west, it would sound something like this. Love songs soaked in whiskey and cigar smoke.
A name that certainly needs no introduction to the lay audience is Ufajr. The ripping post-rock guitars, which firstly played in Valeč in the fourth year , take us on a journey to another planet again – just close your eyes and listen.
Funky with a touch of electronics, playful lyrics, Petr Wajsar – that’s Hi-Fi. This unique phenomenon is coming to play for us after a long decade, so everyone is obliged to search their memory for the correct way to sing ‘tigá, tuf teguduf, hood, DIGESTOR’.
Earthquake? In the Carlsbad region? No, it’s just No Face No Case coming back to Povaleč. The heavy nu-beatdown from Prague will come again to show us what the moshpit is all about. The combination of frack rap with metal guitars just works. Limp Bizkit for generation Z – that’s NFNC.
Néro Scratch, Purpl Boi, or, as we have nicknamed him, ‘the Czech Prince’. Electronic symphonies that take us on a journey to somewhere far away in another galaxy. There must be time for contemplation in between dancing, right?
The trio of experienced musicians Sen Triplet will bring to our festival raw post-hardcore with grunge energy and poetic lyrics by Honza Walda Valík. Sounds, emotions, tones and words fished out of the coldest ponds of Czech alternative, that’s this brand new trio.
So what? Are you looking forward to it? We have been looking forward to seeing you since last year – so in August in Valeč!
